Add New Registry Details Interface

This topic describes the Add New Registry Details interface.

Name

Denotes name of the new registry entity.

Description

Describes the entity.

Inquiry URL

required

The URL of a site where a UDDI registry is hosted. For example: 'http://server/uddi/inquiry'.

Publish URL

required

A UDDI Registry has a different URL for publishing Web services. For example: 'http://server/uddi/publish'.

User Name

optional

For publishing Web services to a UDDI Registry, one would require to register with that UDDI registry. Denotes the registered user name.

Password

optional

Denotes the password used to connect to the UDDI Publish URL.

Category

optional

Denotes any custom category scheme or category that is required.This is a search filter to search for Web services belonging to this category only. Example, NAICS, UNSPSC. For more information, visit http://uddi.org/taxonomies/UDDI_Taxonomy_tModels.htm.

Identifier

optional

Denotes any custom identifier scheme that is required. This is also a search filter. For example, a Dun & Bradstreet D-U-N-S® Number.

Set as Default UDDI Registry

optional

Select this option if you intend to set the registry as the default one. Status field on the UDDI Registry Manager page denotes the registry as default.
Note: To change the default setting, click on the row containing the registry name and select Set as Default UDDI Registry option in the registration details page of that registry. This will over-write the previous default registry settings.
